 Kathy Sweeney, NCRW, CPRW, CEIC, CCM, has been in the resume-writing business for more than 20 years as president of The Write Resume. During that time she has built her business to a six-figure enterprise. Further, she understands the pitfalls that accompany owning a business and can help you to create a successful, revenue-generating, profitable, customer-focused company.
Prior to owning her business, she worked with two Fortune 500 corporations in marketing / advertising, international sales and marketing, public relations, management, operations, recruitment, training, and customer relations, which has provided her with an excellent background to assist other company owners.
Sweeney's expertise in business operations / development, pricing strategies, sales, marketing, public relations, technology integration, and client communication techniques has been consistently sought out over the past two decades. She previously served as a consultant for the Small Business Development Center (funded by the SBA), assisting clients with marketing and business operations strategies.

In 2008, she was named one of the Top 100 Home-Based Business Owners by Start-Up Nation. In 2004, she was honored as the first recipient of the Crown Jewel Award, which recognizes the significant contributions home-based business make to the national economy.
As the 2006-2007 president of the National Resume Writers' Association, Sweeney led a strategic campaign to build the NRWA brand, heighten the organization's visibility to consumers, and enhance the value of membership through innovative training and conference programs.
During her tenure, she implemented automated financial control systems, a full slate of educational programs, and a weekly newsletter, in addition to mapping out the re-design of the association's website. Under her direction, the association grew by 135 members with an impressive 98% retention ratio! In addition, she directed and executed strategic marketing and business development initiatives, which more than doubled the annual conference attendance and increased the available capital funds by 471%.
